Bio:

An on-again, off-again flame for Matias Torres, Miranda Flores is probably his most effective contact and ally. He met her when she was posing as a journalist and, indeed, that is her principal cover identity which is something he is not supposed to know. Now, he calls her when he needs a favor or needs someone to bail him out of trouble and she will contact him when the Agency needs something leaked. As far as he is aware, she remains blissfully ignorant of the true nature of the world.

Update: As of Volume VI: Clean Slate, Matias has learned that Miranda doesn’t work for the C.I.A., but is actually a member of Homeland Security and is assigned to the highly secret “Department X” … which he is now also a member of.
